Flying Queens coach Alesha Robertson-Ellis gave us the prognosis of an excellent season for Wayland's women's basketball team.
Also, Rotarian Billy Ray Garcia reminded us that today is the 240th birthday of the United States Marine Corps. Oooooah!

Elton Wilson was honored for his 46 years of membership in the Plainview Rotary Club with an honorary membership. Elton's family joins President Stan DeMerritt for the presentation.

New member: Kim Martin was inducted as a new member of the Plainview Rotary Club. Sponsored by Ted Baker, and inducted by Membership Chair Eloise Hernandez, Kim fills the classification of "manufacturing."
