Rotary District Gov. John Scott presents Plainview Rotarian Janice Payne with the Rotary Foundation Major Donor Award on Saturday during the District Rotary Conference. The presentation was made in the Grand Ballroom of the restored Settles Hotel in Big Spring. The award, a diamond-shaped Paul Harriss pin with diamonds, represents significant financial contributions to the Rotary Foundation, which supports humanitarian and educational programs such as eradicating polio, district grants to fund projects, world grants to support humanitarian projects, Rotary World Peace Fellowships and more.
