Lydia and Kim Welcome New City Librarian: The new librarian for the Unger Memorial Library, Mariya Hapiy (center), told us about her background and dreams for Plainview's public library. Mariya was born in Ukraine and earned a Master of Library Science degree from Texas Women's University. President Lydia Castillo (left) looks forward to working with Mariya on Hale County Literacy Council projects. Kim Street joins Lydia in welcoming our new librarian.
 Immediate Past President Stan DeMerritt presents Rotarian Sue Brightbill a shadow box honoring her father and long-time Rotarian Elton Wilson who passed away recently. Items in the shadow box include Elton's name badge, his Paul Harris medallion, his Flying Rotarians pin and other items that recognize Elton's service to Plainview Rotary for over 50 years.
