Rotarian Paul Holloway thanks Lubbock CASA Recruitment Director Amanda Norfleet for her interesting and informative program on the Court Appointed Special Advocate program. While the recent donated advertising for CASA by Bart Reagor and Cliff Kingsbury had had a positive impact on volunteer recruitment, Amanda reports that less than 50% of children who could benefit from a CASA volunteer are helped. Over 100 children were placed in temporary or long term foster care in Hale County last year and each one needed a CASA volunteer. More information on CASA can be found at
