Plainview Rotary welcomed Dr. Jessica Charest, the new OB-GYN at Plainview’s Covenant Hospital. Joining her on the platform are (L to R) Vice President Kim Street, President-Elect Lydia Castillo, and Program Coordinator Regan Manning. Dr. Charest informed the male Rotarians of the importance of a good OB-GYN in their lives while giving an excellent status of obstetrics and gynecology in America. She reported that there are about 50 deliveries each month in Plainview, and that the number of Caesarian deliveries is increasing.

Major David Hodge from Plainview’s Salvation Army Corps placed the Red Kettle on the table to thank Rotarians for their excellent efforts last Saturday ringing the bells at four locations in Plainview. Kudos go to Jay Givens for arranging the schedule for the 40 hours of volunteer work.
